Hello! My name is Ruth and I was born and raised in London, England. I moved to America about 6 years ago when I married my Marylander husband.

Back in the UK, I worked for a group of veterinary hospitals for 6 years and studied to be a Veterinary Nurse (as they are called across the pond). I also spent 4 years as a human Pharmacy Technician. I am so happy to be part of the veterinary world again- I feel I have returned home.

My husband and I currently have two fur babies of the feline persuasion - a tubby tuxedo (black and white cat) named Little Chonks and a long, slinky void (black cat) named Vivec. In my spare time, I enjoy a variety of nerdy pursuits such as video games and tabletop games. I am a purveyor and enjoyer of fine puns.
